quiet time.

Our 2000 sq ft log home offers 3 bedrooms plus a loft for sleeping along
with a fully equipped kitchen and large screened porch. The main living room has a
stone fire place for a romantic evening and broad views.
Downstairs you will find a cozy wood-stove, game chest and table, and
VCR if you care to bring tapes or rent one in town. Two full baths plus washer
and dryer make comfortable living, so bring the gang if that is your
pleasure.

When ready to face the world again, Boone is just 15 miles away with
plenty of tourist activities. On your way there you can detour for
a ride on the famous Blue Ridge parkway offering some of the most
spectacular views in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Canoeing the quiet waters,
rafting the white water, hiking trails, or horseback riding are in
easy driving distance along with golf, tennis, skiing and most other year
round attractions. The hills
are alive with music and crafts so take advantage of some while you are
here. Don't forget to stop and
take in the spectacular fall color or rhododendron in the spring. Whenever it's time to get away, it's
time to come to the mountains.
